New Gallery

Finally finished the new gallery. Don’t misunderstand, though. I didn’t spend much time on it and it is not supposed to be permanent. It will probably end up being semi-permanent anyway, if I am any judge, and since I am, well…

The reason I have been wanting to update it for so long is that the old, flash based, design was so cumbersome to update. Sure, it had the fancy popup thingies when you ran the mouse over a thumbnail, but sometimes you just have to say goodbye to little touches of love like that, and go with something you can actually use in the real world.
I still have some more images I want to put up, but hopefully now I can fairly easily do it in a few days.

I also just realised that the link from the splash-page still refers to the old gallery. I’ll just have to change that one of the comming days. But not now. Now I want to go home and do absolutely not very much, preferebly involving a TV or a book.

Crap

I just accidentally saved my “original” for strip 003 in the small web resulution and closed the file…

It’s not that I really need it anymore, but I just like to have hi-res versions of my work. I still have the lineart, but you will never see a hi-res colour verion of it. Oh, well.

Things To Look At Today

The trailer for Happy Feet:

“No, you like it.”

Insanity

“Jackie cane is going insane
Who’s going insane?
It’s jackie jackie cane”

I borowed some Hooverphonic CD’s at the library the other day. They are quite good. Unfortunately, I have been having those lyrics on my mind since yesterday, and, honestly, it is driving my a little bit more insane than usual.

May The Force Be With Me

I bought Star Wars Episode III today. I want to say that I don’t know why, but I do. I bought it because I wanted to. What I’m not entirely sure of is why I wanted to buy it. It’s not that the movie is particularly good. It’s better than I and II, certainly, but still.
I think it is because I have waited so long to finish my collection (yes ,I have them all. God have mercy on my soul.) that I just didn’t want to wait any longer.

This, by the way, Is just to cover my tracks; a sort of pre-emptive strike against all the people who will look at me in a funny way when they find out.

The Late Kennet Haunstrup

It’s amazing, in a sad way, that I can set a schedule for publishing and then the very next time I have to put up a comic, I am late. The last one was on a sunday but I wanted to change that to mondays, so I don’t have to be dependant on getting to the school on sundays, if I don’t want to.

But I couldn’t even do that. So here is the comic, one day late.

Moving And The Upcomming

I have a Plan. It is grand, unrealistic and impossible for me to keep up for more than a month, but it is a plan. The Plan is to publish a comic bi-weekly. This plan will work because I already have 02 ready and 03 is getting close.
When those two are published I have no idea what will happen, but we will see when the time comes.

Monday was Moving Day. The movers, two elderly worker types who usually does misc jobs at the Bach Group, arrived a bit past ten and we got started. Everything went went fine, the odd scratch disregarded, until the last load were unloaded in the courtyard of our new appartment complex when the movers suddenly left us.
With two wardrobes, two beds and a couch still standing in the open and us artist types severly out of strength and a bit puzzeled about how to move all this shit up two flights of very narrow stairs.

In the end, after calling some people who were a lot closer but also a lot less responsive, my dad came by and helped move the last stuff. Without him I don’t know what we would have done, so thank you for the help. Seriously.
